

Most people are friendly and willing to teach. Things like knowing which frames to put statues back (putting a statue back while it's up in the air or below your waist will result in jerky movement other NPCs don't do) or that taking a microfilm causes a subtle head movement. Though I have a feeling Steam will change this, in every game I played with people, my opponent always offered up how they caught me, and what I could do in the future to avoid it. How do I play with someone good who is friendly and willing to teach me? Look for players online with low amounts of wins, like in the tens. How do I play with players on my skill level so I don't get demolished?

Experienced (which is normal mode, the intended experience) uses the full ruleset and all maps and missions are available. Intermediate also has simplified rules but you can play on all maps and with more missions. The "beginner vs beginner" has simplified rules, easy maps and only 4 missions. Also to add, the game has 3 different difficulties you can play at. The community is very friendly and a lot of experienced players are willing to coach a new player.ĮDIT: not sure why the reddit doesn't display the numbering correctly. Don't forget to play the tutorial first though. Just ask in the lobby chat if someone wants to teach you. Matchmaking is already an option (but turned off by default in the options), but it's not skill or elo based yet.Ģ. Proper skill based matchmaking will come later. I think the matchmaking system isn't ready for release yet, so currently you would be in a lobby with dozens or hundreds of players where you can invite someone to play against (or be invited) and the amount of spy and sniper wins is displayed next a persons name, so you can see if they are new or not.
